Google spreadsheet: Clicking on the "Edit submission" link and submitting the form causes a new submission record to be added.

    ate - NEW ISSUE on same form

    Using "edit submission" from the linked Google Sheet loads the correct data on the form but creates a new entry on submit, instead of implementing the changes on the original.

    I cloned your form and tested this issue but I am unable to replicate the issue you are having. When I click on the "Edit Link" from the integrated google spreadsheet, it loaded the submission data correctly in form. I edited the data and submitted the form but that did not add a new submission record in integrated google spreadsheet. Please check the screenshot below:

    I would suggest you to please test this again and get back to us if the issue persists.

    Hi.

    apparently the fix you guys did for the original thread regarding prepopulating also fixed this issue (so nice to know i was correct in regarding them both as having the same undelying cause).

    after a cache refresh it now works properly.
