Close button on Drag and Drop File upload widget asking to delete the field

When I add this widget to my form I then proceed to widget settings to input that I only want jpg and png files. I input those as comma separated extensions as I am instructed to and then click on the "Update widget" button.

I then click on "close" Button and a box pops up asking if I'm sure I want to delete the widget? Obviously, i don't as I just installed and updated the settings.

So what is going wrong and why when I preview the app the widget is not visible?

I have checked your JotForm and see that there are no Drag and Drop File upload widget added to the form. I see that there is only the normal file upload field on the form. Since you mention that it is asking for to delete the widget, you may be clicking on Delete icon accidentally. Please check again and let us know if you are referring to a different form. We will be happy to take a look again.

    Thanks!

    Hi Kiran

Thanks for your reply. After submitting the enquiry to you I found the other upload widget with the one the form presently has, as it worked ok. So I removed the Drag and Drop widget.

I did not click on the delete button, I clicked on the close button which bought up the "do I want to delete" dialogue box.

I have another two issues with the same form now, that perhaps you can help me with, please.

1.You will see that on top of the second page there is a text box that I require the user to fill in with 150 words or less.

When I do a test of the form and fill it in, this box does not display in the result that is emailed to me.

    2. When I try to upload a "png" file it is rejected as having an invalid file extension despite me setting that as one of the accepted file formats

I cloned your form and added Drag and Drop Upload widget, but I could not replicate the issue you reported.

Maybe the widget was not working properly on your form. When you click on the Update Widget button, the changes should be saved and the widget settings should be closed automatically.

If you want to use this widget, please add it back to your form and try to save your changes again.

here is my cloned form with the Drag and Drop Upload widget: https://form.jotform.com/80151295051953

Feel free to clone it and test it.

Considering that your other issue is not related to the subject of this thread, I moved your question to a separate thread and we will provide you an answer there shortly.
