change upload button style

In advanced form designer I select the upload button, select a style but it's the submit button that changes?

Why is this and how do I control the design of the upload button, css only?

Yes you can change the style of the Upload element with CSS. The class of that button is:

    .qq-upload-button

If you need assistance please let us know how do you want to change it by providing an image or an example so we can assist you.

Why is this left the to murky world of css (which I'm still a newbie to) when the submit button freely can be changed?

Jotform delivers world class easy form building but only for selected form elements, why can't a button just be a button?

I am sorry for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately that is not just a button, that is a File Upload element which can be used to upload different files based on the file type.

Buttons that you edit on Form Designer are buttons like submit, next and previous. Again, we are happy to help you to customize the button. Just let us know how do you want to look like.

sorry for late reply, somehow it ended up in spam.

thanks for the offer, i might have to take you up on it but for now I'm good.

I managed to get a look I'm happy with. I'm sure my sensibility for what looks good on the form will change once I've gotten the hang of things, so will probably return on this subject.
