How can I use Jotform as an Endpoint

    Hi There

Is there a way to use a Jotform as an Enpoint

e.g. Another service sends data to the JotForm which can then receive and display the information?

    Thanks

I'm afraid most of our integration and workflow work the other way around, where you use JotForm as the source of data, then push that data to another endpoint (e.g. a webhook, CRM, 3rd party platform, or a database).

The closest thing that comes to my mind is prepopulating the form fields using URL parameters. We have an app that will help you generate the URL parameters you need for this.

    http://prepopulate.jotform.io/

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but it looks to be similar to a previous thread you opened here https://www.jotform.com/answers/1348639

    Hi Jim

Thanks. It is similar, I'm just trying to make a work around for what I think should be a simple task. Apparently, not so.

I'm having trouble getting Zapier to properly format the URL parameters. I know pre-filling works in JotForm as I've tried it manually. But, I'm still trying to find a search solution and then get a pre-filled form...

    Thanks again...

You mentioned a "search solution" - Did you mean you're using Zapier to search for data > fetch and parse parts of that data through Zapier > then generate a prepopulated URL out of it?

I don't think this is within our scope of support but if you could tell us how/where you're searching and how you're attempting to generate the prepopulated URL, perhaps we can help you in finding an alternative (if applicable).

Ok. So, I have a JotForm, which Zapier receives and searches PipeDrive for
    the Person. This bit works.
The question is how to open the JotForm with the data that I need. I
figured I might be able to use the Thank You page or another Form to
pre-fill once I've got the data.
I was thinking of using Google Sheets in an Iframe embed, so that it
automatically updates the display but there's too much data. I just need to
populate fields such as address and telephone number.
Surely there must be a way out there! (Other than using the PipeDrive API
    and writing my own code...)?

You can customize the Thank You page or Redirect to an external link after form submission.

Setting up the Thank You Page

The thing is that you do not have the search result data immediately after form submission.

Yep. I was thinking I might be able to get Zapier to run some code and open the JotForm URL with the results but they don't support that unfortunately.

I am not sure how the search thing works.

Did you try Zapier Webhooks for the last part?

Yeah, I thought WebHooks would do the job but the JavaScript to open a URL
    doesn't seem to be supported...

    You could contact Zapier support?

    https://zapier.com/help/contact-us/

They should be able to enlighten you with an answer.
