In October, 27, 2016, Ardent wrote "Everytime I try to create a pdf form it takes a long time and then it doesn't create the pdf form."
The same day, Beril (JotForm UI developer) answered "The issue should be fixed now. Could you also test it on your side? If the issue still persists, please let us know."
I just began using JotForm a few days ago, and I have the same issue as Ardent. (Unrelated, but who knows, Ardent's problem on 10/27/16 was the same day as my open heart surgery! LOL!)
This is a re-post of a comment on How to Create a PDF Form

I just tested your registration form: http://www.jotform.us/form/80124462784154 and it is working. It just takes approx two minutes to generate the fillable PDF.
Are you sure you want a fillable PDF form?
Because its also possible to download a static PDF of a submission.
Hope that helps!

First, I've gotta compliment you on a warp speed response.
I already had figured out how to get submissions in pdf form.
What I really want to do is to have the registration form itself be a fillable pdf, with an option for the user to print it. Some of the luddites who will register don't know from filling out submit forms. Last year's event, our first, we simply put a word doc on line that people could print, fill out by hand, and send in with a check.
Is it possible to do what I'm thinking about? (BTW, I'm not doing this with the clone, but with the original. When I followed the steps for creating a pdf form (select form, More, create pdf form, select page breaks), it worked for a while and I got a message that I couldn't create the form. Tried again and got a terrible looking document; any ideas? Thanks, Aubrey.

Yes, it's possible to create a PDF form as explained on this guide, please note that the users will receive the PDF file and they are able to either print it or fill the file and submit it, the response will be shown on the submissions page of your form.
Now, PDF forms cannot retain the same layout as the web form, some of the features will not work either such as widgets, I would recommend you to take a look on this link in order to get more info about PDF fillable forms: https://www.jotform.com/help/312-JotForm-Fillable-PDF-Creator-with-All-Points
Also, if you only need to send them the form and they will print it on paper I think you may print the web version, the links below will help you printing the forms page:
I hope this helps.
