How does the Payment Authorization works?

Hi, I made a form for credit card authorization and credit card prepayment.  The ones that fill out prepayment form where I don't have to click a link to charge them (as in the authorization form) where does that money go?  I had a client yesterday state they clicked on the form and filled it out and has an email that it was processed but I can't find where it may be.  I thought it was connected to paypal but when I go there i can't tell where the money is from.  Just confimring that when they fill out the credit card info that the money goes directly to the paypal account.  Please confirm thank you

The Payment Authorization feature will only capture the information. In order to charge the card you will need to manually do it through your Square account dashboard.
