    Hi JotSupport,

I have 8k+ records (see sample below) needed to be available using the Auto Complete widget. But I think the widget can't handle that much data. Can you suggest other widget that I can use for this?

    Manuel J. Santos Hospital-Butuan
    North General Hospital
    South General Hospital

You're correct - There appears to be a limit on the number of characters allowed on the AUTOCOMPLETE WIDGET. I'm not sure what the exact number is but it looks to be limiting the total number of characters (and not the number of lines/entries).

    Here's a test form showing what I mean: https://www.jotform.com/80181343443955

Both fields have a total of 10k entries.

The first field has random names that are all numbered from 1 to 10000. On that field, it will only allow you to query up to #2169.

(type 2169 then 2170 to test it)

The second field on the other hand is only comprised of numbers 1 to 10000 and it works flawlessly.

I escalated this to our Devs so we can have a definitive answer on the actual limit and ask whether there's a chance to increase that. Although I won't be able to give you any timeframe, rest assured, we'll keep you apprised on this same thread when there's an update.

    Hi Jim_R,

While this is being escalated, can you suggest other widgets which I can use for my form?

Please give the Dual ListBox widget a try. Here's the link: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/dual_listbox

You can also check the demo at this link: https://form.jotform.com/60981563794974

    Thank you.
