How to read the total amount of Purchase Order tool separately in Zapier?

I'm trying to have an invoice created when someone submits a form (using a purchase order field). I use Zapier to create an invoice, but when I try to connect to the "my products" field, it provides a big jumble of information instead of a single price.

I need there to be a single total price field on my form so I can translate this to an invoice. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am not sure if  I have understood your question correctly. Do you mean to say that you want to only read the total amount separately of purchase order tool?

Please note that payment tool is a one single field and the entire data of product selected and the amount is displayed as a list in zapier. Since total amount is not a separate field which you can read separately in Zapier. 

I would suggest you to please add "Form Calculation" widget in your form and set it to read the data of purchase order tool. It will display the total amount which you can ready separately in zapier too. Please check the screenshot below:
