Downloading forms to Excel or CSV shows fields / columns not being used

    On my form that I am building (used part of template for address, etc), the form downloads fields to both Excel and CSV that I am not using (Home Phone 3) for example.

    Is there a way to prevent these fields from being downloaded?

    You can manually disable it on your Submissions page by unchecking the fields manually.


    Unfortunately by default, Excel/CSV will add all the fields and just return it Empty if there is no data.

    You can automatically download the data without including the Empty fields thru PDF format only.
