How ot add calculation form "Matrix Field?

I'm trying to total a column using the Form Calculation Widget and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I can't seem to get the + sign after the added field and then the numbers are calculating higher than they actually are. I put in 10 and 10,000 is showing up in the calculation field.

Do you want to show the sum of all "Total Cost" column? Please note that you can select all the fields of column and then manually add "+" sign in the form calculation widget. Please check the screenshot below:

I did exactly that but it won't let me put the + sign next to each item, it goes onto another line?

should I use a configurable list instead?   and in that list can you do calculations?   how many units

That should be fine. It appears that it is going to new line (maybe because of screen resolution) but as long as the "+" is added between two fields, you should not have any issue.

I did check the second form calculation widget (PO) and you seems to have added it correctly. Please check the screenshot below:

Is there a way to use Configurable List and add a calculation to the Total Cost column?

Unfortunately no. It is not possible to use "Configurable List" widget with form calculation. Have you checked our "Spreadsheet" widget already? Please try it out and see if it fits into your requirement. This will allow you to do add calculation formula with in cells of the widget.
