Collecting Payment

Is it possible to use a Jotform to view submitted credit card information on a secure website that you provide. From there I could then use that submitted credit card information (full credit card number/expire date/CVV) to charge the credit card myself. Or is it mandatory to set up payment collections through a collections website?

That is not possible. It is against our Terms of Use to collect credit card info using the plain text fields.

Phishing. You agree that Company may terminate your JotForm Service immediately if a form's purpose is found to be deceptively obtaining: sensitive credit card information, social security numbers, user login credentials, or other sensitive personal information. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the violating forms will be suspended immediately.

Card number, expiration date, security codes and card holder name are considered critical information and cannot be collected on plain text fields. The only services allowed to collect such data are those that are DSS/PCI certified.

If you want to collect payments using JotForm, you have to use one of our payment tools. Inside of this guides, you can find more about the payment forms:

If you want to charge your users manually at later date, I would suggest you to use one of the payment tools that have built in credit card fields like Paypal Pro, Stripe, Authorize.net.
