Downgrading Account: will my forms get deleted due to the form limit?

  • daniellem
Asked on January 24, 2018 at 4:59 PM

    Hello,

We would like to downgrade to the free version. We only need 5 specific forms which we currently have now, we just need to eliminate one form.

How do we go about downgrading without deleting the wrong forms. I was told for the free account we would only be able to use 5 forms.

Your forms will not get deleted, you will simply not be able to create or clone new forms. So you can go to the billing page if you want to downgrade your account. https://www.jotform.com/myaccount/billing

Can you please check to see what account Charles Orden has? I should be connected to his account. When I looked under my account and my current plan it says I have the free account, but Charles is getting charged $20 a month so I would like to make sure we are downgraded to the free accounts across the board.
Also, I would need 5 forms and I would need to edit the forms on a monthly basis. How does this work when we are getting submissions for each form every month?

The account that shared forms with your currently has a Bronze subscription.  You would need to log in to the bgouthro account in order to cancel that subscription.

You can edit forms at any time, the submission data will remain unaffected as long as the field that collected the data remains present in the form.

We do not have access to BGouthro's account. The employee who created this account is no longer working at our office.
How do we keep the few forms we need that are in my account and just go to one free account? I want to remove BGouthro and Charles Orden.

There are no changes needed if you simply want to keep the two forms in your own account active.  Since it looks like the forms in the BGouthro are still being used, I will leave that account as is unless a request to downgrade it is sent from that account.

We do not want to pay for an account. If we are paying for Brian's account, how do we deactivate this? And we would need five specific forms, that is it. Can someone please go over this with me in detail or call? I have been trying to get specific answers in regards to all of our accounts for weeks now.

You would need to contact the owner of the account, as he is the only one who can grant access or transfer the ownership of the account.

Okay, and how does he remove Brian and how do we save just the five forms we need and switch to a free account?

Please note that for security reasons, we can not provide you access to that account nor transfer or clone the forms over to your free account, your email domain does not even match the email domain of the registered email address.

If you can not contact the owner(person whom you are claiming that created the account and is not longer an employee), please do the following to prove ownership of the account:

    1) Reply to this thread with an email address that has the same email domain of the registered email address.

    2) If the account was paid with your company or organization's credit card, provide a screenshot of that bank statement that reflects the last charge.

    3) Provide the last 4 digits of the credit card used for the subscriptions payments.

The owner is here in our office I just need to know what to relay to him in order for us to go down to the free account and keep five specific forms that are currently being used in my account. He also needs to know how to remove Brian Gouthro.

To set the account back to Free, the subscription can be cancelled from the billing page:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/341-How-to-Downgrade-Subscription-Back-to-Free-Account

Previously created forms will still remain active.

To remove or add sub-users, that can be done from the user page:
