I wasn't aware that the form submission details were stored in your jotform account, I set up this form for a client and therefore i don't want to have future access to their emails, so can I change the account over to them? or do I need to register a new account with their details? and then clone the form

You can change where notification emails from the form are sent to.
This article should help with that.
If you did want to transfer the form(s) over to an entirely new JotForm account that only your client would have access to, get the account created and we will happily move the form and its submissions over to the new account.
