Sender name displayed incorrectly

    Got a weird one. The emailed results from a simple contact form show the name Doreen Buckland as the sender rather than the name entered into the form (as it is set up to do). We have no idea where this name comes from and it's nowhere in the body of the form results.

    I have set the form to send to another email address for testing purposes and the name of the sender displays correctly. Any ideas?

    I have checked your form and I can see you're using one of the default sender email addresses, please note that if you're using a default sender the name will be taken from the field on the form; however, if you have configured a custom sender then the sender info will be taken from that email, this may be why you noticed the difference, that's actually the behavior when using a custom sender email  address.

    Thanks for your answer. We have just got to the bottom of it. Somehow the default sender (noreply@formresponse.com) was added to Contacts. This overrode the name given within the form.
