We have a Jewelry store that wants to collect information needed to check someone's credit score.  This means the form will need to gather Social Security Number.

Can we do this using your service?

Being that you will be dealing with sensitive information you would need to consider the security of that information.

You can use a secure form, which means that the data will be transfered to our servers encrypted.  Here at JotForm we do everything to make sure that our servers are secure, firewall and we strive to always maintain it patched.  However, the information that is submitted is not stored encrypted on our servers.  It would be visible to our staff who have admin permissions in accordance with our terms of use.

You can take a look at our Licensing Solutions, particularly JotForm Application. I think if you host the application yourself, there might be a way to have the submissions saved encrypted in your server if that is the level of security that you are looking for.
