How to free up the upload storage space?

Posted a question in error when I really should have been searching the
Forum.  I was looking into how to free up the upload storage space.  Not
so much an issue now since I upgraded to a Bronze plam

Thank you for additional information.

To be able to free up space, you have to delete the submissions that have uploaded files in them. 

But please be mindful that deleted submissions cannot be recovered.
