Possibility to get a list of all Unique Names inside of the Form Builder

In this support thread and a few others, JotForm support mentions a feature that brings up a popup list of all unique names with the keyboard shortcut ctrl+shift+i while in the form builder.

I've tried it, but it's not working. Does the feature still exist?

    Thanks!

As stated on the thread you shared. It is only available on our Old Form Builder. We recommend you to use the current though since it is more updated and have more features/widget.

You can still see those field Names/ID by going to your Notification Email by default it will list/call all fields with input in the Email Content

    Marvih,

Is that what the JotForm Developer is saying on the thread I shared? To me it appears as though she's saying that the ctrl+shift+i feature will show you a list of all the unique names, but not field IDs. For that she suggests switching to the old form builder. She does not say that you need to switch to the old form builder in order to use ctrl+shift+i.

Here's the excerpt I'm referring to:

You can also access the Unique Name List of all form fields. Please press CTRL+Shift+I in the for builder. Whereas you get a list of unique names,  there is no option to get a list of Field IDs of all form fields in the form unfortunately.

However, you can switch to the old version of the form builder. In the old version, it is easier to see Field IDs and unique names of the form fields. Just one click is enough in this case.

That said, if the ctrl+shift+i feature is gone, it's gone. But that's not what's indicated in the JotForm developer's post.

As for the other method you suggest to see the list of unique names, thanks, I am aware of it. I'm looking for a way to edit the unique names in the list, though.

That is an old thread from January 2017. The Old Form Builder to which olivia was referring to is Version 3. In the current Version 4 that option does not exist. It is also no longer possible to switch to Version 3.

You will have to check each field separately to find the Field ID and Unique name.

How to Find Field IDs and Names

Or you can check the email Notification to see a list all Unique names, like my colleague suggested.

I think that it was a good feature and I will report this to our developers to see if the same feature can be added to Version 4. However, we can not provide you the exact time went and if this will be implemented. If there is any update we will inform you via this thread.

Thanks for passing on the feature request. I've already upvoted it in another support thread.

    I see. https://www.jotform.com/answers/1369678

Considering that my colleague also raised the same request to our developer, I will cancel the feature request on this thread, because we should not raise the same request from the same user on multiple threads. If there is any update you will be notified on that thread.
