Logics Getting missed

Hello, 

I am here with the another issue. When we change the order of the questions or if we delete any question from the form then most of the logics get missing. We have to add & delete questions almost twice a week and then we need to update the logics as well which is very time consuming job. Is this the default functionality of your application ot is there any way that the logics doesnot get affected if we delete or change the order of the questions.

That is the default functionality. You are setting the conditional logic for the fields that exist on your form. If you delete the field from your form, the field will be deleted from the condition as well. Even if you add a new field that is exactly the same as the field you deleted, it is still a new form field and it is not a field for which the condition was set.

I understand that when we delete any question all the logics which are concerned with that particular question will also be deleted but what exactly is happening that if I delete any question most of the conditional logics which are not even concerned with that question is also getting affected, due to that we are facing many problems as we have to keep on updating all the logics again. We have more than 75 conditional logics in the form and  it gets really difficult to update all of them everytime the question is deleted or the order of the question is changed.

That should not happen. When the field is deleted from the form only conditions that are set for that field should be affected. The other conditions that are not related to the field that was deleted should still work.

I assume that the form you provide is not working properly. Please let us know which conditions are not working properly on your form. 

Also, if possible provide us a version of the form that is working properly and tell us which fields should we delete from the form to replicate the issue. Tell us the exact names of the fields and tell us which conditions that are not related to that field will stop working. You can provide us the screenshots of the fields and conditions.

We will test it on our cloned form and if there is a bug, we will report it to our developers. 

I can provide you the steps which i followed yesterday when the logics went missing. 

I was changing the responses from all the questions and accidentally one question with heading "Occupation" got deleted and the order of one question also got changed. But the only change i made in this form was i changed the responses of all the questions, and when i went to the conditions tab there i found that 75 logics got affected and i have to update all of them to get the form working. 

The "Occupation" question which got deleted only has 3 or 4 logics. So in order to replicate the issue you may follow the same steps. If you are unable to replicate the issue with the steps I provided you then i will have to make the changes in the form in the night may be then i can update you with the screeshots, so kindly let me know if you guys are able to replicate the issue with the above steps provided.

I cloned and checked your conditions.

First, I found that the condition 8 has missing fields(I didn't do any edit):

Then, I removed the "occupation" field and these are the conditions affected:

But the rest of conditions are fine, as you can see:

As my colleague said, changing the field (removing for example) will affect only conditions that include that field.
