sub accounts not working as expected

Sub accounts previously could clone and edit forms with all the permissions of the primary account.

But now my sub account users (two sub accounts) are considered "free" users and are prompted to upgrade when -- for example -- they want to have more than one notification email address.

    What happened?

Sub account or Sub-users doesn't have the same limitation with the Paid (main) accounts.

If they are on FREE plan account then the limitations for FREE users will apply. You need to create the form under the Paid account to increase the limit on that form.

We've been using JotForm for at least a couple of years and never encountered this issue with our sub accounts over those years. So now it seems to us something is "broken." When did the sub accounts come to be considered FREE plan users? What changed?

Sub-accounts have never inherited the subscription of the account that shares forms with them.  This would essentially allow for sharing a single subscription with multiple accounts, giving multiple upgrades for the cost of a single subscription.

Any forms that sub-users create in the shared folder will have the limits of the account that shared access.  Any forms that are created directly in the sub-users account, not in the shared folder, will be subject to the limits of their own account.
