    How can I remove the "Billing Address" title for the Address Quick Tool?

    Asked by digitecture on October 10, 2012 at 08:25 AM

    Hi,

    Is there a way I can remove the Billing Address title that is above the address fields by default?

    Thanks,

    Jamie

    Hi Jamie,

    Unfortunately, you can only removed that text via embedding your form full source codes. Find this lines of coding and remove it;

    <tr> <th colspan="2" align="left"> Billing Address </th> </tr>

    Thanks

    Hello there!

    To add to the previous response, you can also do it by injecting the following CSS code:

    th{display:none;}

    .form-address-table tr th{display:none;}

    Caution! You must make sure that there are no other <th> tags on the source code as none would be displayed.

    Let us know if you need further assistance!

    Thanks guys. The CSS edit seemed to work in the preview but when I tried to load the page I got a JS error so I embedded the source code instead.

    Both prompt responses are much appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Your form is working fine in my end upon checking, and I was able to submit also with out any JS error. Kindly check your form's submission. Have you tried already deleting your browser cache and cookies? If not, please give a try and let us know if the said issue persist or not.

    Thank you!

    How exactly do we inject the css code on the form?  Is there something in the form itself to do this or do we have to manually add that code someplace else?

    Hi JF'ers....

    Why did "Address" become "Billing Address"?

    I'm assuming that "Billing Address" in bold now appears in ALL of my online forms... Is that correct?

    If so, I've got to change ALL of my active forms that include the quick "address" tool... I don't need the registrant's billing address.. I just need their address... I have teenagers completing my forms and now they see "Billing Address" on the form....

    I'm using the CSS trick and it's working... I also had to field a call from a client asking me why "billing address" was on his event online forms. Needless to say, my response was I don't know and then I found the answer on the forum.

    Each of us need the ability to add labels based upon our needs. I would like to request that "billing address" be removed.

    Thoughts?????

    This appears to be a bug of some sort. I just checked one of my forms and sure enough, Billing Address shows up as its heading.

    I'll submit a ticket to see how quickly we can get this rectified. Thanks for informing us about this.

    Our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

    Also,

    If you have multiple forms, for a safer workaround for this issue please inject the following CSS code:

    .form-address-table tr th{display:none;}

    Thank you for your patience and let us know if we can further assist you!

    Just sign up today, very nice, but so far just the bug issue of address fileld keep showing Billing address label, no big deal. just follow instruction in http://www.jotform.com/help/117-How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes and use the CSS inject > .form-address-table tr th{display:none;}, work perfectly,  thanks,

    The "Billing Address" problem on address fields are now fixed.

    You don't need the CSS inject quick fix any more.

    We are really sorry about this. We are about to release a new payment integration (Stripe) and a bug in that integration resulted in this problem.
