Jotform blocked in Mexico - IP restriction?

    Hello,

We are using Jotform for our online registration form and it seems to be working well.

But in Mexico we recently had a student who could not access the form on our website, which is a big problem. He managed to access it by using a proxy: "I just tried the url through a proxy hider and the enrollment form opens and works perfectly".

So we would need to know urgently if this problem is likely to happen to some other students in other countries, how to solve this and make sure the form is displayed correctly.

    Thanks for your help!

    Claire

Please provide the IP address that is blocked so we can whitelist it. To find the IP address, please use this link: https://www.whatismyip.com/

You can also use this guide to whitelist JotForm IP addresses: https://www.jotform.com/help/145-Whitelisting-JotForm-IP-Addresses-and-Domains

I checked your forms and they're working properly. I also checked your account and it is in good standing.

We will wait for your reply.

    Hi John,

Thanks for your answer, but how come some IP are being blocked by JotForm?

This means it can happen in several other countries for our potential students... !? And hence we are losing them because their IP has been blacklisted?

    Please kindly clarify.

    Best,

    Claire

The IP can be blocked due being suspected for phishing or attacking. That is the only time when the IP it's blocked. In order for them to access our server we need to check the IP and look why it has been blocked before adding the IP to our White List.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. Please let us know if you have any other question.
