We only have volume for a few days during the year. I have just upgraded our account to Premium for one month. How do I go about downgrading after the month is up?

You can downgrade at any time. Simply login to your account, enter the settings area, and click on the "Cancel" button on the right.
That will take you to our payment gateway. You can cancel your subscription there at any time.
If you prefer, you can also post a private request on the forum requesting that we do it for you.
