    Hi,

    I dont want the background to be red when someone doesn't fill in all of the proper info. I also want the field to be shorter for the error message.

    If I download the "compressed and refined version with seperate .css and .js files"

    Where do I add these files in my Wordpress theme?

    Thanks very much,

    KP

    Better yet, can I just have a pop-up that says which fields are not correct?

    Hi KP,

    For changing your background color, you need to inject CSS codes;

    .form-error-message {

    background:#FFF !important;

    }

    Note: Change #FFF (which is the color) to your preferred background color.

    To adjust the width of the error message field, same as above, inject this codes;

    .form-line-error .form-error-message {

    width: 150px;

    }

    Note: Change 150px to your preferred size.

    -Add this files to your WordPress directory (public html)

    -This is possible but a bit tricky. Also, we do not recommend to add additional JS Scripts in every forms you create.

    Hope this helps and let us know for any questions. We'll be glad to assist.

    Thanks
