How to put a restriction on email field,so the user can’t send the filled form to someone outside of our organization.

    Dear Jotform team,

I have a blank email field in my form. Is it possible to put restrictions on this blank email field?
I want the user to fill in their supervisor’s name by themselves (I have no list of supervisors, so I need a blank field), but I want to put a restriction so the user can’t send the filled form to someone outside of our organization.

    I basically want something like:

"blank field where the user can type the name of their supervisor" + "un.org" (fixed)

This way I secure that nobody sends the form to someone from OUTSIDE of our organization by mistake. (if it goes to the wrong person within the organizations that is less problematic. I just don’t want the data to get outside)

    Thank you so much!

    Best,
    Julia

You can make your Autoresponder email conditional and set the condition to send an email only if email ends with "un.org". If the email does not end with "un.org" it will not be sent.

    Here is an example.

Considering that the users may enter the wrong email address by mistake, I would suggest you to display an error message on the form and to notify the users that the wrong email address is entered. You can also hide the submit button to prevent the user to submit the form if the wrong email address is entered. This can also be achieved with the conditional logic.

Here is my demo form with the second option: https://form.jotform.com/80444446163960

Hope this meet what you are looking for.
