    I have created my Stripe account and am able to make a payment on their site with a CC.

    I have created my form using Stripe as the payment type.  When I try to make a payment on my website I get an error saying that I need to enter a card or customer.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Hello there,

    We'll be glad to help you!  What was the method used to embed the form? And would you be able to share the form's URL for us to further troubleshoot?

    I'll wait for your reply!

    I used the embed form wizard and chose the iweb option.  Copied and pasted.

    The URL of the form is shown above.

    Hi,

    If you are still experiencing this issue until now, would you mind if we ask your for a screenshot of that specific error?

    I have just tested creating a stripe payment with live payment and all are working fine. Nothing error with making a payment.

    I get an error saying that I need to enter a card or customer.

    -Maybe you have entered a wrong card number and or failed to enter your name?

    Thanks, we'll wait for the screenshot.

    I have replicated the problem. I'll submit this to our development team for further investigation. They'll reply to this thread once they come up with solution.

    For the meantime, while waiting for the developers update. Can you please recheck your API keys? I'd suggest to retake them again at Stripe then paste it to your stripe integration. It's worth a try. :)

    Thanks!

    ok, I recopied my API keys and repasted them into my form.  Copied and embeded it on my webpage.  Same problem.

    I'll look forward to hearing from you when you find the solution.

    Thanks!

    Hi cfranson,

    I have made a successfull payment, $0.5 JotformTest item (I have added it to your form) , with my own credit-card.

    I didn't get any problem, could you please check your Stripe account for payment ?

    Thanks and Regards,

    Ertuğrul.

    Hello- I did see your payment and sent you a refund.  I tried the order form with my own CC and still have the same OOPS error.

    Details: File: /www/v3/live/lib/classes/Payments/Stripe/Stripe/ApiRequestor.php Line: 114

    I don't know if it makes a difference but it is a previously used form, that was saved and used for a new payment type as offered by jotform.

    @cfranson

    Are you getting this error on your embedded form? If so, please try the standalone form: http://www.jotform.com/22858407037962

    If the standalone form works, it is possible that the embedded codes have been corrupted. In that case, kindly re-embed your form using iFrame codes as opposed to the iWeb ones.

    We'll be looking forward to your results.

    Hi,

    Could you please tell me which browser you're using on test ?

    Ertuğrul.

    (I'm completed the payment test with Chrome and Firefox.)

    I tested the iframe code and it did work.

    I am using Safari 6.0.1

    I created a fresh iweb coded form and had the same issue.

    I have uploaded the original iweb code until further notice.

    Just to make it clear, the issue occurs only when you use iWeb embed codes, right? iFrame fixes the problem, correct?

    If so, would you be amenable to using iFrame codes permanently? It is possible that the iWeb codes (those are full source codes to be precise) are having conflicts with your site's structure.

    Using iFrame shields the form from any type of conflicts, whether with styling or with functions.

    that is correct. IFrame fixes the problem.

    I can use IFrame permanently, but I'd prefer to use iweb.  I like to make some product font color changes as displayed on this non-credit card page.

    Any hope of keeping my full source code??

    Hi,

    I have found out the problem and it's solved now, but I need you to update your full source-code (it's still an old version of it on your website)

    Thanks,

    Ertuğrul.

    Another problem developed.  The stripe charge form that I'm using is working for me and some others, but this morning a customer stated that it would not work for his order.  I don't have specifics but he is working on a Windows OS using Internet Explorer.  I am ok with using iframe if you can help me with some CSS code to change the different product fonts color.

    Here is the URL of the form that I'm using.

    @cfranson

    Yes, iframe should be fine.

    Here's the CSS codes, I just mimic your product font colors.

    #input_7_1003 + label, #input_7_1005 + label{

    color: seaGreen !important;

    }

    #input_7_1008 + label{

    color: #66F660 !important;

    }

    #input_7_1009 + label{

    color: #B43104 !important;

    }

    Just inject that to your form. How to Inject Custom CSS Codes

    Thanks!

    that works nicely.  I was using some CSS code to knock out the red/pink error background.  So now my CSS code field looks like this.

    #input_1_1001 + label{

    color: seaGreen !important;

    }

    #input_1_1002 + label{

    color:seaGreen !important;

    }

    #input_1_1006 + label{

    color: #66F660 !important;

    }

    #input_1_1007 + label{

    color: #B43104 !important;

    }

    .form-line-error {

    background:none repeat scroll 0 0;

    }

    the problem is, if an error is made the submit button disappears and it comes back when the error is corrected in safari, but on iphone the submit button never returns.  Any ideas?

    Thanks again for ALL your help!

    To solve the problem, please simply increase the height of your iFrame, so that you will have enough space in different browsers.

    Example:

    <iframe allowtransparency="true" src="//form.jotformeu.com/form/form_id_here" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:478px; border:none;" scrolling="no">
    </iframe>

    Increase highlighted size in pixels.

    Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.

    I had this same problem with our JotForm using stripe.  The iframe code seems to fix the form for some customers as long as they are using firefox and chrome.  We are still having customers that are using Internet Explorer and using our form even with the iframe version getting the "Oops" error.  The development of Stripe integration by JotForm is not worth it, we will probably change back to Google Wallet until they get this figured out.

    If you're using iFrame solution, then you do not need to republish it :) But if you're using a Full Source code solution, then you have to republish it :!

    Thank you for your understanding,

    Kindest Regards,

    Ertuğrul.
