Hi there, we are a bike hire company and we need to collect credit card details from our clients as a bond (we don't charge the card, it is just for security).

Is there any way we can use jotform to collect those details, store them safely and then delete them?

    Please let me know,
    Thank you

Unfortunately, it is not allowed to collect any sensitive information such as passwords or CC details using plain text fields on a JotForm. Such forms are considered as phishing forms and associated accounts are automatically suspended. Please refer to our Terms of Usage for more information on phishing. It is necessary to use one of the payment integrations available in the form builder that are having PCI DSS standards. Since you do not want to charge your users, you may consider enabling Payment authorization that is available with few payment methods. This would help you in authorizing the user's credit card information in the payment gateway and you may charge them later from the payment gateway dashboard if necessary. Please refer to the guide below that can help you with more information on enabling payment authorization.

    Hope this information helps!
