2. I am integrating paypal. How can I set up paypal to accept a
payment plan, and how can I set up paypal to except a deposit instead of
the whole amount.

Are you planning to have a subscription type of payment? If yes, then please refer to this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/166-How-to-Setup-a-Recurring-Payment-Option.

In the Subscription payments, there is a "Set Custom First Payment Cost" option when you are creating a product. Please enable it and then put a value on the "First Payment" field.
