    Can hover position be changed via Inject CSS?

    Asked by markashton on February 14, 2011 at 01:50 PM

    Hi,

    I'd like to slightly change the position of hover elements. Is it possible via CSS manipulation?

    Thanks Mark

    Hi,

    For those interested firebug flags up the following CSS elements. Edit these to change position , etc

    .form-description

    .form-description-arrow

    .form-description-arrow-small

    Thanks - no answer required as cracked it myself. Mark

    Sure, it should be possible. Exactly how do you want to change it?

    The CSS default is:
    .form-description {
        -moz-border-radius6px 6px 6px 6px;
        -moz-box-shadow0 2px 4px #666666;
        backgroundnone repeat scroll 0 0 #F5F5F5;
        border4px solid #CCCCCC;
        max-width150px;
        positionabsolute;
        right7px;
        top6px;
        white-spacenormal;
        z-index1000;
    If you change any of this via inject CSS in Preferences will see visual change. This changes vertical position:
    .form-description {
        top14px;
    }
    Try it folks
