Display question on received application despite not being required?

    We use Jotform for our online application, is it possible to "set" the form so that despite a question not being required, it still shows as unanswered on the completed form that is sent by email.

    For example: one of the questions we ask is "starting salary" which we do not require, but we would still like to see that they didn't answer it.

    Simply go to your notifications "advanced" settings, and disable the "Hide empty fields" option:
