I created a form for use as an optimal wellness survey and would like to put it behind a paywall, i dont want anyone able to even access it until they have paid first. After paying, the should be able to fill out of form and submit it. Is this possible? if so, how? Can i get a step by step ?

Can you please provide us more details which paywall you were referring to?

The Payments integration available in JotForm works differently. The functions were integrated and will allow the users to do payments when submitting the form.

From the details you provided so far, I think your concept was that there should be an access screen first before the user/s can use the form.

This can be easily achieve using other method if you intend to publish your form in a website. You can just put access page in the website itself before the user/s can go to the form.

We will wait for your updated response.

Your correct on the concept. I do have a website i want to put it in, but i am not sure how to put a paywall. I use both PayPal and PayJunction.

I am not sure what you mean by put an access page in the website.

Sorry for the confusion. Please check this article from PayPal instead. I refers to what I was suggesting.

Accepting Payments for Online Content (Including Paywalls)

What I was suggesting was that the feature is not within the form but you can do it instead via your website.

On the other hand, the JotForm payment integration also have the feature called Payment Authorization only.

Maybe you can use this feature in a way that your users can make payment submission already but they will not be charged with payments right away. You can initially get the payment/billing details already without charging the account right away.

If a user pays using the PayPal module...will it charge them or do I have to manually charge their billing info?

Please note that if you add PayPal payment tool in form, after the form is submitted, users will be redirected to PayPal checkout page where they can settle the payment.

If you have enabled payment authorization, only then you will have to manually charge your customers.

    Hope this helps.
