I will check the form you mentioned and get back to you soon.

Victoria_KReplied on February 21, 2018 at 3:20 AM
Upon checking your form, I was able to find out the following.
It seems that you have added an "absolute value" parameter to your calculations and it is causing the issue. Actually, the fact that it is used not quite correctly.
Here is how it should be:
abs ( Ricotta cheese )
But, it is not obligatory to use that parameter in your situation. I can see that you have already defined the calculation values for your dropdown fields. So, you can just summ them, it works in my test form:
I have used just two fields as an example, but you can add all other to your real form.
Here is the result:
Let us know how it goes!

Sorry for the inconvenience this may caused you.
I cloned your form and I was able to replicate the issue you reported. Your calculation is set correctly, but it is not working.
After multiple tests I found out that the fields (Order-7) -Extras) and (Order-8) -Extras) are causing the issue. I am not sure why but it seems that there is a glitch with those fields.
To resolve the issue, remove them from your form and re-create them. You can also duplicate the field (Order-6) -Extras).
I did this on my cloned form. Here is my form: https://form.jotform.com/80514021663952
Feel free to test it and clone it.
If you duplicated field in your form, it is possible that fields (Order-7) -Extras) and (Order-8) -Extras) will cause an issue in other section of your form, when you set the calculation. If that happens, do the same remove the fields and re-add them to the form.
If you plan to create a calculation for all form fields, I would suggest you to split the calculations. Calculate each section of your form separately and then perform a total calculation at the bottom of the form.
-

I am testing your cloned form and as far as I can see the calculation is working properly.
I noticed that you set the calcification for 4 out of 6 salads. Did you resolve the issue with salads? Please note that the dropdown fields (Order-7) -Extras) and (Order-8) -Extras) were previously cussing the issue not Form Calculation widget.
Regarding your other question, you can move the Form Calculation widget to the first page or have the same calculation field on both pages.
What I thought is that you can create a separate calculation for each section. For example, calculate only Pasta options in one field, then in another field calculate only Pasta Extras, in the third field calculate Wings and Salads, and so on. Then set Grand Total calculation and sum all other calculation fields. Considering that you have a lot of fields, this will allow you to easier check if there is an issue with your calculations because you will be able to test each section separately.

would have to have a condition log it on every calculator
If you can help me set up that punched out of that be great
I would love to have at least at the end of each pay the calculate the

So are you telling me that it's not going to work and just having one total
at the end or I'm going to have problems?
Other issue
Also there's one other thing that that no one has answered my question is
yet and you seem like the smartest person in the bunch
You see how I'm doing it right I have an item let's say pizza
My phone people
Have to check two different options
Either extra or no topping
What I see on the internet out there they have something called a sub menu
That I pulled down cheap pizza 18 in
And a checkbox box with pop up on the screen
And you would have two call columns. One would have extras
And no toppings
Right now is the only way I found your system to work it be so much easier
to check some boxes on each Pizza and call it a day
Right now
I have about eight options
Which would probably work but it didn't make the form longer and longer
If I had a pop-up box for each item
Versace the pull-down menu
To be a lot more logical
If the pop-up (Sub menu) is not available to me
I understand we all have limitations
The other issue I'm having
Is there any way possible

Victoria_KReplied on February 22, 2018 at 3:09 AM
Last time I have created section totals for the items you did have in your grand total field (at the end of your form).
So, you can keep adding Form Calculation widgets to other sections of your form and summarize there items of the section.
Here you can see your CALZZONES & STROMBOLI ROLL section with calculation added:
You can click on the last field of a section for the Form Calculation widget appear right after it, not at the end of your long form.
Afterwards, do not forget to add all section calculations to your Grand Total field:

I know how to make something required. What I'm trying to accomplish when making a pasta selection I want the pasta Choice mandatory
I am afraid that we cannot directly set this up since you have many pasta selection dropdowns. For a single dropdown, it is possible to use conditions. For example, if order #1 selected, require 1 pasta choice, if order #2 selected, require 1 pasta choice and require 2 pasta choice.
Am I not able to clone the calculator with all the calculation inside is that not possible? I rather have a running total then sections calculate. Can I can I clone my total calculator and then move it where I want to in each section?
This is not possible to duplicate the calculation field with its formula inside. However, there is a workaround. You can use a unique field {name} within a Text field type to get the total value. The unique name of the total field on your form is {calculation}.
For example, you can use it in each section like this.
Total Order: $ {calculation}

As what my colleague showed you, we can have multiple if statements to require the needed fields. Unfortunately, the sequence you have given will not work with the current format of your fields.
May I suggest, using a Multiple Choice for the Pasta - Choice, to allow a single require condition for all the Past-Choice and you can also select multiple pastas.

If you need to set the Pasta-Choice dropdowns as required based on the number of the ordered pastas, you may try the following.
Calculate the number of the pasta orders. For example:
(tomato pasta / 8.95) + (ricotta pasta / 8.35) + (Lasagna / 9.40) + other pasta dropdowns in the same way
Then, set up the require field conditions based on the number of the orders.
and so on.

I have an idea in mind, so I'll try to implement and explain it and you please tell me if my suggestion is acceptable.
1. I have added one more field to show pasta total. It is a form calculation widget set up to be read-only.

The logic I've implemented is following:
As I understood, you want the respondent to choose at least one dish from section.
So, I made it possible with estimating total price of section.
For example, the lowest price for pasta is ~$8.95, so I've compared total of the section with 8.
If it is lower, then no dish is chosen.
If you want the respondent to choose at least 2 dishes, I'd recommend to compare the section total with ~16.
Please note that you can HIDE the total of the section to avoid your respondents see it. But, that is the only way to handle the "section requirement".
Please provide me more information as to you ideas for Pasta Choice (how many dishes should be required per section?) and please test my form:

Yes, you will have to do it on every section. Please take note that the calculation widgets are individual in its own sense so you will have to setup its calculation setting for each and identify the objects (fields) that you wish to be included in the calculation.

Here's what I understand your requirement is based on the information above.
Require the equal number of Pasta - Choice drop-down field(s) based on the total number of Pasta orders regardless if different kinds of pasta were filled.
For example, 2 orders were selected from (Tomato Sauce & Pasta) drop-down and 2 orders also for (Ricotta Cheese & Pasta) drop-down. This means that there should be 4 Pasta - Choice drop-down fields that should be required.
Now, the thought of using the sub-total amount to determine how many orders were placed is one way of getting the total number of orders. However, this may also create confusion since most of the kinds of pasta have a different price from the other.
I would like to propose a solution where it will require for us to break down the total price to get the total orders. Which, in that case, we will need to add another Form Calculation widget to the form.
I understand that for each order option you have placed a Calculation Value based on the price of each pasta. Since each pasta has a determined price, we will divide the Calculation Value of each option by its price. Then, in the Form Calculation widget, we will add the quotient to get the total number of orders selected in all kinds of pasta.
After that, we will use the value of that new Form Calculation widget to create conditions to require the equal number of Pasta - Choice drop-down field(s).
Note: You need to delete all other conditions that would make the Pasta -Choice drop-down fields required to avoid conflicts.
