Database: Populate form

Is it possible to have a form, that user fill the first fileld with a code and JOTForm, after this field loos focus, send an API request to our system and collect probable answers to the other fields in the form? Like an Auto-Fill, but with my database information via API.

Unfortunately not. Most of the database integrations allow submissions to be exported to a database only.

We support the following databases:

https://apps.jotform.com/search/database

However, its possible to query a spreadsheet with a code. And the form will populate on return. It called the spreadsheet to form widget.
