    Hi

I have a series of the same fields that need to be filled out multiple times on some of my forms for the sake of organization.  Is it possible to have fields automatically pre populate according the answers to the same questions from previous questions?

    Example

    Designer Name

    Designer Email

    Manager Name

    Manager Email

    Account Executive Name

    Account Executive Email

    Thanks

    Hi jaycw7

There are at least 3 existing known methods that do the 'pre-population" and/or 'saving sessions data' that the form builder can do.

    1. Prepopulating-the-fields-to-your-JotForm-via-URL-parameters

    2. How-to-Save-Forms-to-Continue-Later

    3. How-to-Insert-or-update-form-submissions-to-your-MySQL-database-using-PHP

If I understand your idea correctly #1 & #2 is somewhat closer and simpler to implement.

The downside of #1 is, there should be a URL link that needed to be clicked-on (it is not all automatic) to be able to proceed to the next form. And the information are seen on the URL (parameter data)

The downside of #2 is, the session is only between 2 forms. You will not be able to transfer the information from 1st form if there is a 3rd form. And you will require Page Break field on the 2nd form.

In #3, you will need to have your own resource for it (PHP, MySQL and programmer)

Another option is, if you can host the form in your own website using the form's source code. Then, if you have resource for programming, you can create functions/modules that can be use by the form to do POST sessions and save session data that can be reusable while the form is in session state (being used)

Please inform us if you have further inquiry.

    Thanks.
