forms not send

    Until yesterday forms were send to my email address.

    However, by some unknown reason this has stopped.

    I can see on the Jotform site that additional forms have been filled in, but these have not been sent to my email address.

    Why? and what to do to restore this function.

    Hi,

    Your email address is in our bounce list and this is the reason:

    Reason(s) : 5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 550-'From contains invalid characters.'

    Your form should be working fine by now as I remove your email address in our bounce list.

    I'm sorry, but whatever you did, did not solve my problem.
    I've filled in the form (again) and it was received by Jotform (I can see it there), but somehow not send to me.

    but whatever you did, it did not fix the problem.
    You stated that my email address was in your bounce list. Strange.
    The error code however says something different:
    "Other mail system problem 550 From contains invalid characters.
    How do I - we - solve that problem?>

    Your email address was added to our bounce list because your server rejects messages from us.

    The reason (for rejection) is stated as:

    5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 550-'From contains invalid characters.'

    Upon checking your form's notification settings, I found out that you're using a 'Reply-To' address. However, the field from which the Reply-to address is taken does not have any kind of validation. Meaning, one can enter any type of text, even if it's not an email address. That may be the cause for the rejection.

    To solve this, simply configure a validation for ALL your forms' email address fields.

    Select the field, then click the Validation button. Then, select Email in the options menu.

    As for your your latest test submission, can you please check your SPAM folders to see if the missing email is there?

    Hi,
    I've changed the validation settings for the email field on the forms.
    Apparently that works.
    I'm now getting the forms by email.

    Make sure to update ALL your forms. One small mistake can lead to another email rejection. When creating new forms, I suggest that you use our built-in Email Quick Tool instead of a plain text box for email fields.

    Good morning,
    I've just posted a question at the forum.
    Problem is that I do not receive emails indicating that people have filled out a form on my website.
    Concerns:

    As far as I can see, this problem started early on 23rd of december.
    Also, if I want to send the email - which is present at the jotform site - to my email account: that action has no effect but the MESSAGE that it has been sent.
    Either it has not or it bounces somewhere outside my view.
    Please look into this, my business is depends for a certain amount on the working of jot form.
