What will happen when multiple people make appointments at the same time?

I have created (after much help from the jotform team - thanks!) a parents meeting appointment form.

Each teacher has 1 slot available at 1 time, so what happens if several people select that slot?

Does the slot cease being available before submit or only on submit?

Does person a's form still get submitted if the slot gets taken by person b while person a is still completing the form?

Your assumption is correct - Validation of the remaining slots will only trigger on submit. To better demonstrate, here's a side by side view of the same form with just 1 slot left.

You would see that both users can select the slot while they're viewing the form and it will show 1 available left on both ends. However, once one of them is done submitting the form, the other user won't be able to submit it since the slot counter will be checked first. If the system finds it unavailable, then the user will see that error.
