How to limit dates to 6 months later.

I have a field that the person must enter (pick) a date. I would like that field to show the date that they have chosen. Would also like the next field to show the date either 6 months or a year later.

Thus

Enter in date filed: 3/1/18 and show in that field. Then in the next field it automatically would show the date 9/1/18.

It this possible?
