Does Multi-line field work with conditional logics?

I'm trying to create a conditional statement that will take the information from the name field and populate a field in a multi-line question, but it does not seem to be working. Is this a feature that has issues or am I doing something wrong?

Apologies for any inconveniences caused. Based on my understanding such a condition would not work with the Multi-Line field since at the moment this is not supported. We will however continue improving this feature on the new Multi-line field.
