Hi, what are the ideal specs for a background image, please? I'd like my survey to work well on both desktop and mobile.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Under responsible design pattern, an image must be selected to fit both mobile and desktop sizes.

In your case, white colored area is not suitable with responsible design and not support both mobile and desktop devices. Unfortunately, current background is not going to support bot device screen.

If you have any question or comment, please let us know.

    Kind regards.

Thanks, for getting back to me.

What type of image can I work with for both mobile and desktop? I would at least like to place a logo on the background image somehow.

You could try adding an image of a pattern. That is one type of image that would work well for both mobile and desktop.

Placing a logo on the background is not a good idea. As different devices will display the background differently. They all have their own resolution. However, you can add your logo to the welcome page. Just click on the icon on the welcome page. And the logo will show on the form as well.

    For example:

Hi, I've gone back to a template that I liked and then used used Pearson brand colours.

Will this work for mobile and desktop?

Definitely, yes. The form is already responsive, but as what my colleague had mentioned, each device has a different resolution. Therefore, you cannot have the background image to display in full when viewed on mobile devices. It is automatically scaled down to fit on mobile devices, so not to have it stretch or distorted.

You may also consider viewing and submitting the form on multiple devices.
