Is it possible to capture multiple entries in one single field?

Is there a name widget that allows the user to add more name?  I tried configurable list, but when downloading to excel, too much extraneous information ends in the cells.

Unfortunately, this can be accomplished with a widget only, please find all the widgets related to multiple entries here: https://widgets.jotform.com/category/multiple_entries

However, all the widgets currently have the data in one cell while downloading the submissions as Excel, there is not currently a way to split the data.

If you have more questions, let us know.

so although the user fills out multiple lines, one at a time,  that will download in excel one item per cell?  Nothing on here can do that?

Unfortunately, none of the dynamic widgets will put the data in separate columns in the spreadsheet.

The only way would be if you add the fields, and show them base on conditions: https://www.jotform.com/help/316-How-to-Show-or-Hide-Fields-Base-on-User-s-Answer, however, the number of entries the user will be able to add "dynamically" would be limited to the number of conditioned fields you will add to your form.
