Stripe Integration questions.

    Hello!

    I am so happy to be using JotForm but have a few questions:

    1. When I try to test the "test credit cards" that stripe suggests on my form, they all go through, even the ones that should show as an error. I want to make sure I am providing the safest checkout and security for my customers. Can you advise how to make sure they are protected from fraud?

    2. When I try to embed the form on my wordpress website, the form takes VERY long to load. I have had more success by creating a button to lead customers to your form but I would prefer they not leave my site. Can i configure the submit button to send them back to my home page, or to a success page on my website? If so, how?

    3. Do I need to make sure my website has SSL if I'm using jotform or do you take care of that for me?


    The URL is to one of my forms. It is set to test mode and if you test a faulty credit card number, no error message will be triggered.

    1. The integration itself has some security measures in order to safely transfer the data from the form to Stripe and process the data. Also, JotForm itself is PCI compliant which ensures the security on the payment process, please read more about it here: https://www.jotform.com/blog/314-JotForm-is-Now-PCI-DSS-Service-Provider-Level-I-Compliant 

    Now, the reason why you're seeing all testing cards working is because your form is actually on test mode, please note that test mode will not charge cards, once you switch to live mode you will see how the error appears if you do not enter a valid card information. 

    2. May we get the page where the form has been embedded on? We will be happy to test and see what may be causing the issue. 

    3. JotForm URLs are handled under SSL, all the links are loaded in HTTPS; however, this is different from your website and if you embed a JotForm form under HTTPS in a site under HTTP your users may get a security alert or some functionalities may not work due to this so we do recommend you upgrade your site to SSL or use the JotForm form's link instead, this way you load the safe link for your users.

    Re Question #2 - Very slow load time of embedded form - I've been testing the form on my blog site - same host, same wordpress account just a different domain and theme.
