Image Choice: the option to open the images in lightbox popup

Unfortunately, it's not possible in the Image Choice field. I find no workaround either. Let me send this to our developer as a feature request. We can't promise any timeframe for this, but if there are updates, you should know it via this thread. 

In the meantime, you may consider creating a gallery on your website if you have it, then put the images there. Get the link to the Gallery and put it in the field description:
