I am creating a simple form that will allow purchase of 1 item. The issue I have is that the PayPal account the payment goes to is used by other departments as well and I need to make sure that the collections made for my product can be separated from others. On websites you would add the code from the button that was created in PayPal. I understand that this code can't be used but, is there a work around?

You can try passing a field value in the PayPal integration. You will see this option under the "Additional Gateway Settings". Here's how:
1. Insert a Short Text Entry field and put a label on it. You can hide it or put a default value on it if you like to. You can do this in the Properties > Advanced.
2. Select the payment field and then click the "Payment Settings" button. Click the "Additional Gateway Settings" section and then change the "Fetch Data from a Text Field" value. Please select the Short Text Entry field you just added.
Hope that helps. Thank you.

rfreeman1966Replied on March 7, 2018 at 4:43 PMThanks for your suggestion. I think I need to use the PayPal Express as we have a business account and I don’t see the option for fetch data from Text. What is the custom Data Field used for?
Also, when I view my form and try to select a quantity I see 1, 2,3,5,6,7,8,9,10. There is a blank space for 4 but, the number isn’t displayed. If remove the default I get 1 thru 10 displayed.

It is actually available in the Paypal (Standard) field for as long as you have a textbox or hidden field in your form.
The Custom Data Field is very optional. You can use it if you want to pass custom text or any other information in the Paypal transaction. If you only want the product name, description, quantity, to be displayed in the Paypal transaction, there's no need to use this.
Regarding on using the Paypal's generated product button, you can't use it in the form builder. You will have to create the products using our Paypal integration and that would automatically process payments through Paypal once the form is submitted.
I checked your form and I don't see any problem with the quantity.

rfreeman1966Replied on March 8, 2018 at 7:43 AMThanks for the response. The quantity issue only presents when I set the default to check the box. I turned that off and it works fine. I just didn’t know if you were aware.
Thanks again for your help.

Generally, Express checkouts are used for business for quick checkouts and the service fee from PayPal varies from Standard to Express/Pro. Please refer to the articles below that can help you with more information on comparing PayPal and PayPal Express/Pro.
