Square: Product name is not included on Square transaction in Square Dashboard

    Squareup widget not reporting items sold via jotform. Squareup only displays a credit card sale.

    Squareup created items not displayed in jotform squareup widget.

    To clarify, you did not receive any email notification when a successful payment was made using the form with the integration?

    As I check your mail logs for March 7,2018, I can see the successful submission payment has been emailed.

    You will receive auto notification email for a successful purchase.

    May we know if that view is in your Square website?

    No, its not about email.

    Its about the Squareup widget. The Squareup created products created in jotform do not integrate with Squareup. I see the purchase in Squareup with details of the products purchased.

    And.. Squareup created products do not appear in Jotform Squareup widget.

    We want jotform to purchase products via squareup and report the products purchased in squareup reports.

    Presently, the jotform created will only provide a credit card purchase and not report what was purchased in Squareup.

    Do note that, you need to add your products in your Form and not in Square.

    Products in square doesn't sync with what is in your form.

    When a form is submitted and a product purchased, square process the payments and what items was purchased.  Jotform is just a gateway for the integration and doesn't process the payment.

    As far as I know, square should take care of the reports and the inventory of the items purchased.

    Since products are configured outside the Square payment gateway, it may be listed as Uncategorized.

    Yes, we created the products in the jotform Squareup widget as you can see.

    Yes, the squareup purchase, via jotform, is submitted as Uncategorized.

    This is displayed in my first image submitted today at 9:07AM. The two top orders are from jotform and are not linked to any product (uncategorized). The next two orders are from Squareup card reader that show the products ordered.

    I was expecting the created squareup widget products to submit with the order into squareup.

    The form would submit the products selected by your customers in your form, but square is the one who would process everything.

    As what I have stated above, products created in square doesn't sync with your forms.

    There's no need unless our developers require it.

    We have a similar report from other users so I have forwarded this to our developers for further investigation. We will let you know here once this is resolved.
