Is there a widget available which would generate a unique code and present it to the user?

    Hey,

Is there a widget available which would generate a unique code and present it to the user?

This code would be linked to their response and visible in the csv data file also.

The reason for this is that I'll be paying respondents subject to their feedback being of good quality.

I will ask the respondent for their unique code and it is this which will allow them to be paid.....assuming they completed the form correctly ;-)

I understand there are other ways of identifying people....like names....however I would like to avoid GDPR infringement if possible.

    Thanks!

We have the Unique ID: https://www.jotform.com/help/79-How-to-Add-Custom-Unique-IDs-to-your-Form-Submissions. The Unique ID is in series. If you want a random unique code, I suggest using our Random Value Generator widget (https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/random_value_generator).

To add a widget in the form, please check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-your-Form

Note that the Unique ID widget is not visible in the form, but you can get its data to the thank you page (classic layout) and autoresponder email.
