    How to increase upload box size

    Asked by adbook2013 on October 22, 2012 at 03:39 PM

    when users are attaching a file (photo) to my form "box" not large enough.  So when they are clicking on the file on their computer, the form does not show the complete name of the file and the user is not sure the right file is being attached.

    how can I increas the size of the "box" once a user clicks on the "attach file" button?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    Can you click on the field in the form editor, the click on the grey gear and select the xxpand option?

    Yes,
    That expand option appears to change the look of the form, but not the size
    of the "box" when choosing a photo to upload. The problem is users can't
    see/confirm they are attaching the correct photo.

    Can you try adding this Custom CSS?

    .form-upload {width:300px !important;}

    This guide will show you where to add it.

    Please add a dot (.) before form-upload to solve the problem.

    You can also adjust highlighted size (300) in pixels.

    Please give it a try, and let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thank you! That did it. If I change the 300 to 600 will that make it
    twice as wide?

    You are welcome. Yes, you can set the box size to 600px, but in this case it will jump to the next line due to the width of your form.
