    I tried to login to jotform this morning and all I get is a message that my IP address has been banned. What can I do to fix this?

    Your account was suspended, because you are collecting social security numbers in the following "New Client - Kelli Cox" form:

    This is something not allowed according to our terms of use: https://www.jotform.com/help/8-Terms-of-Use

    "Phishing. You agree that JotForm, Inc. may terminate your JotForm Service immediately if a form's purpose is found to be deceptively obtaining, for example: sensitive credit card information, social security numbers, user login credentials, or other sensitive personal information. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the violating forms will be suspended immediately."

    You may collect some sensitive information such as SSN and drivers license;

    "Collecting Sensitive Information. You may not use the JotForm Service to collect certain types of sensitive information, including but not limited to, credit card information and any type of login credentials. However, you are required to apply best security practices such as encrypting your form:

    We have reactivated your form, please delete that field, or encrypt your form. Let us know if you need more help.

    Thank you for that fast help! I’ve deleted three of my four forms. The remaining one collects SSN’s, but is encrypted. Is this OK?

    That's perfect, I would suggest you to add an E-signature widget to add extra security, and confirm that customers agree to provide this type of information: https://www.jotform.com/help/433-How-to-Add-an-E-Signature-to-Your-Form

    Open a new thread if you need anything else, we will be glad to assist you.
