Dropdown field: Multiple quantities of the same item

I'm using the drop down field to load a series of products. I do not see an option to allow multiples of the same item to be added. Do I need to use a different format to allow for multiples of the same item to be added. For example, I want to add (2) of the same item from the drop down. Right now I can only add the item once.

Here's two solutions to the problem. 

#1 Uses the configurable list widget - This method allows you to dynamically add items. However it doesn't work well if you need to use it to calculate totals for a payment.

#2 Uses the PayPal integration - All integrations are nearly identical. This approach works best if you need to take a payment for your items.
