I have checked the field you shown on your second screenshot, the field does not show on my end when previewing the form. I have tested with my cloned form and with your form as well, are you experiencing the issue when previewing the form or while editing a submission?
Please note that the field will indeed show up when editing a submission and if you're logged-in into your account (form's owner account).

Yes it shows only when editing a submission. Would it only happen to me? But others who are editing their form will not see it since they are not owner of the form?

Yes, that's the desired behavior of the hidden fields, they will show for you as the form's owner for admin purposes, but others will not see the hidden field while editing the submission.

Hi There, I tested this where I was not the form owner but when I go to edit form I still see the hidden fields.

I just tested another form (edit form) the portfolio complete status should be hidden and Default to YES. But it looks blank below. Also SUbmission sent to email should default to nursingcap@childrensnational.org but it is blank below and it is showing for the user this should also be hidden

I have tested some of the edit submissions link for some of your users and below is what I see.
Kindly note that you would need to logout from your Jotform account to test this. Or you can try using a different browser which you have not used to login to Jotform.
You are seeing the email field because you are logged in to your Jotform account.
