Is there a way of following up for a final payment?

When people use our camp application form to book into camp, they have to send a deposit by bank transfer, cash or Paypal. That's working fine.

However we would now like to send out reminder emails that list some of the basic info from their application (names and costs for accommodation and meals), including what they still owe and a link to make the final payment.

    Is that possible?

    Thanks,

    David

I can see that you have set up an Autoresponder. That means that the users will receive an email after making a submission to your form.

You can also send an email for Incomplete Payments. To do so, set the option Pending Payment Email to Notifiers & Autoresponders.

That's a good solution for people that didn't complete their deposit transaction, but I'm talking about people that have paid a deposit and now need to make their final payment.

In other words, a reminder email to all people that have submitted forms with their outstanding balance. And a reminder email to everyone about things like what to bring.

    Does that make sense?

Unfortunately, we do not have the email reminders.

However, this is possible to configure the delayed email autoresponders with a 'Send Emails later' option.

Please note that the form user will not be able to edit their submission in order to do the final payment (since the payment field will be in a read-only mode). It looks like that you will need an additional form to be able to receive the final payments.

If you would like to pass data from one form to another, you may check the next guide to get an idea on this:

How to Automatically Pass Form Data to Another Form

It should be possible to add created 'form prepopulation URL' to the delayed email autoresponder.

That's useful information - what about an option of creating a new form that is loaded from an email with parameters?

So we create emails to each person with the info we want to share and their final payments, then they click on a link in that email to the new form that includes their final payment as a parameter to a Square or Paypal payment widget?

    Could that work?

You could create such link by using https://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-Fields-to-Your-JotForm-via-URL-Parameters feature.

You could create a link that will hold all users data that you need, prepopulate the mentioned form so your users can submit it with that data.

Is that what you had in mind?

Good News. This feature is available now. You can check the further details on the following user guide:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/541-How-to-Set-Reminder-Emails-for-Your-Forms

However, this feature does not check if the recipient fills the form or not. If the recipient fills your form and if you do not want that recipient to receive reminder email, you need to delete that recipient from the setting.

Feel free to let us know if you have further details.
