Recovering rejected submission

    Hi there,

I had the settings wrong on this form: https://form.jotform.co/80428985157872 and it was preventing people submitting twice from the same computer. Unfortunately, when he clicked submit (for his second application) it declined him and cleared all the data.

So it didn't submit and it wiped all the data - I have fixed the settings so that this won't happen to anyone else, but is there any way to recover the lost data?

    kind regards

    Miles

    Hi Miles,

Unfortunately if the submission was not successful/completed and data did not even reach JotForm at all -- there is no way to restore or recover the data.

The best option I see here is to just let the user do another submission of the form now --  if that is what you need.

Do take note that it actually is possible for your users to redo a previous submission also.

You can give an Edit link to the users where they can review the previous completed/successful submission they did and let them resubmit.
